Almost summer

This morning I woke up and found Thomas sitting on the couch, wrapped in his blue blanket named Fuzzy holding Baby and Turtle, watching tv. Sounds cute, right? No, he knows when he wakes up he is supposed to get dressed, get his shoes on, brush his teeth and come downstairs for breakfast, and ONLY after breakfast is finished can he watch tv. Yep, only 9 school days left and he still doesn't get the drill. Oh, he knows, he knows EXACTLY what to do, but he would rather do what he wants. I am hoping this is a four year old thing and he will magically transform on his 5th birthday into Mr. Responsibility. Glee, on the other hand, had to tell me about a dream she had where a giant butterfly filled the sky and when it opened it's wings it became a constellation, and then her teacher took her somewhere with the class, and someone on the radio was telling her to look out the window at the butterfly constellation. She, on the other hand, does her morning routine in record time and makes it downstairs before Thomas. As usual. This is the morning. I think I need another coffee.
